Guard patrol monitoring

Are your guards doing the rounds you are paying for? Prove every patrol, and know straight away when one is missed.

The problem

A guard is paid to walk the site through the night. Nobody sees whether it happens. A paper patrol book is filled in at the end of the shift, and after an incident there is no way to show the client that the guard was where he should have been.

How it works

  1. Mount ID points at every place the guard must visit. They are wireless, waterproof and need no batteries.
  2. The guard clocks each point with a baton, or with a phone using a QR sticker, an NFC tag or GPS.
  3. Every clocking is recorded with the point, the date and the time, and cannot be filled in afterwards.

The record is proof for your client, and documented proof of OHS compliance where patrols are part of your safety plan.

Choose how you want to know

  • After the shift, with no monthly fees. The Tagtough Starter Kit stores up to 4,000 clockings in the baton. Download it and read the report.
  • As it happens. The Suga Blu baton sends each clocking over the cellular network, and the Remote Uploader puts a Tagtough baton online in real time. Set when and how often a site must be patrolled, and a missed, late or rushed round is sent directly to you by Telegram or email.

Where it is used

  • Residential complexes: make sure the guard completes the full route each time.
  • Business premises: make sure the guard is not asleep at night.
  • Construction sites: add points as the build progresses.
  • Schools and shopping centres: keep perimeters and public areas checked.
  • Hazardous sites: the Tagtough baton is intrinsically safe to Zone 0.

What you show your client

A report of every point, on every round, with the time and the guard. Have it emailed to the client automatically every morning.
