Remote Uploader (RUE)

Stop driving to site to fetch a report

Mount the Remote Uploader at the guardhouse or office and join it to the Wi-Fi. After each patrol the guard rests the baton on it. A moment later the clockings are in Tagtough Online, where you can see them from any web browser.

What changes when you add one

• See patrols from anywhere. No software to install and no drivers.
• Real time. Clockings are online moments after the baton is placed on the uploader.
• Automated reports. Have them emailed daily or weekly, to you or straight to your client.
• Alerts sent directly to you by Telegram, email, GuardSense or the eOB when a patrol is missed.
• It prompts the guard. Kept on site, the unit plays a tune to tell the guard it is time to start patrolling, and tells them afterwards whether the patrol was a good one.
• Hands-free upload. A support holds the baton in place while it sends.
• Keeps your hardware. It uses the Tagtough batons and ID points you already own.

Where it fits

Any site with Wi-Fi at the guardhouse. It is the only patrol uploader of its kind that uses Wi-Fi, so there is no SIM card and no data contract.

There is a no monthly fee option: clockings are online on the free mid tier of Tagtough Online. Automated reports and alerts are part of the full tier, with an optional server fee of R129.57 a month excl. VAT (compare the tiers).

Or take it with you

Sites with no Wi-Fi are covered too. Fit the Remote Uploader in a supervisor's vehicle, where it runs from USB. The supervisor reads the batons at each site on the route, and the unit holds several thousand clockings. Back at the office it joins the office Wi-Fi and sends everything to the server.
