Vehicle and asset tracking
Know where your vehicles are, where they have been, and that the equipment on site was checked.
Two kinds of asset
Things that move: response vehicles, supervisors' cars, delivery vehicles. You want to know where they are and how long they were out.
Things that should stay put and be checked: fire extinguishers, hoses, first aid kits, tools. You want proof someone looked at them.
Moving assets: a live map
A phone running our Beago app, in the vehicle or in the driver's pocket, reports its position and whether it is moving. In Tagtough Online you get:
- a live map with trails and a heatmap;
- movement reports: when each vehicle was out, and for how long;
- service-interval reports;
- a link that shares one vehicle's position with a client or a recovery company, and expires by itself.
Fixed assets: proof of inspection
Fix an ID point to the item. Whoever inspects it clocks the point with a baton or phone. You have a time-stamped record that the extinguisher was checked or the hose is still clamped.
Vehicles leaving a depot
Clock a point on the truck as it leaves and returns, and tag the equipment it must carry: first aid kit, triangle, the lock on the fuel tank. Missing items show up on the report.
